Forte de son succès auprès de Bradley Cooper dans A Star is Born et de sa performance dans la série American Horror Story, Lady Gaga poursuit sa carrière d’actrice.
Préférée à Angelina Jolie et Penélope Cruz selon The Hollywood Reporter, elle incarnera Patrizia Reggiani, l’ex-épouse de l’héritier Gucci, dont elle a commandité le meurtre en 1995.
Le film est inspiré du livre de Sara Gay Forden, La Saga Gucci - Du luxe au meurtre, de la création à la guerre boursière.
Lady Gaga sera dirigée par Ridley Scott, le réalisateur de Gladiator ou plus récemment Seul sur Mars
L’artiste continue par ailleurs sa résidence à Las Vegas ainsi que la préparation de son nouvel album, prévu pour 2020.
